This Musician Was Born Without Fingers and Plays the Piano Beautifully

Teenager Alexey Romanov has become a promising piano player despite he has no fingers since birth. In addition to having no hands, the teenager was also born with only one leg. Sixteen-year-old prodigy Romanov from Zelenodolsk, a village in the Republic of Tatarstan, was adopted by his mother Louise Levachkova, and her husband Vladimir, when he was aged 12. His adoptive parents noticed his predisposition for art and bought him a synthesizer. With time and a lot of practice, Romanov began participating in competitions – and winning them. He was also invited to join a music school in the Russian city of Kazan.

Watch Alexey play a stirring rendition of River Flows in You by Lee Ru-ma.
