Drone Flight Over The City Of Pripyat

Earlier this year, filmmaker Danny Cooke used his drone to capture deserted area near Chernobyl nuclear plant in Ukraine which exploded in 1986. The city of Pripyat, once home to a population of 50,000 plant workers and their families, was just a few kilometers from the Chernobyl power plant. All people have been evacuated a few days after the 26 April 1986 Chernobyl disaster and never came back. A frozen Ferris wheel, poisoned forests and paint sloughing off an empty swimming pool; these are the remains of a city devastated by a nuclear disaster nearly 30 years ago.

Thank you. Gave me some insight to where people come from i e what may have influenced them to become who they are today. Have a greater understanding and compassion. Not everyone grew up as I did.
