Photographs Of Schools In China In 1991
Xie Hailong is vice secretary-general of the China Photographers Association and director general of Images Copyright Society of China. In the late 1980s, he traveled to China’s rural villages and took photos of poor children that were forced to drop out of school due to their poor economic conditions. He decided to help them, with his camera. In 1991, he traveled to 12 provinces, 28 counties and visited over 100 schools in China.
