P-47 Thunderbolt, France
The plane is close to Bastia at a depth of 10 meters. Crystal clear water makes this area often visited by divers. The plane preserved in very good condition. The engine fell off and lies next to it. The only missing elements are the stolen guns.
IL-2 Sturmovik, Hungary
This IL-2 Sturmovik has been shot down over the Lake Balaton. It was picked up in 2010. The plane was in a relatively good condition despite hitting by an anti-aircraft cannon.
This tanks was used during military training in Biedrusk. Other tanks were removed in the 1980s, except this one.
Dornier Do 17, England
This German light bomber was shot down during the Battle of Britain near Kent. Two crew members were killed, the other two fell into English captivity. The wreck was spotted by divers in 2008.
This Soviet truck has been lifted from the bottom of the Msta river. There were remains of the driver’s body in a padded jacket in the cab of the truck.
DKW Luxus 300 / Krasnyj Oktiabr L-300, Russia
Metal detector hunters usually find canned food, coins or shells. Some folks from Russia found a motorcycle.
Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress „Black Jack”, Papua New Guinea
On the fateful night of June 10, 1943, a B-17F Flying Fortress known as “Black Jack” took off for, as it turned out, the last mission. The aircraft encountered violent storms. Emergency landing succeeded, but the plane sank. “Black Jack” was found by accident when a group of searchers where looking for another wreck.
