Every Spring This Park In Austria Disappears Under Water

Our Earth has many unique places you should definitely visit. Grüner See (Green Lake), located in the Hochschwab mountains in Austria, is one of those places. It’s a lovely park with small (2000 sq. meters) 1-2 meters deep lake. But in May, when the snow melts, the water level rises rapidly and reaches the depth of 10-12 metres also covering an area of 4000 sq. meters. It turns the park into massive pool with all of its footpaths and benches submerged under water. It’s a great place for scuba diving. The incredible phenomenon lasts for only 3 to 4 weeks during the spring.
