New WTC elevator show animated history of New York from 1500s to now

From next month, every tourist in New York will have a new item on must-see list – the five special elevators servicing the observatory at the top of the new 1 World Trade Center. The Americans decided to spice up the elevator trip and put nine 75-inch, high-definition monitors on the walls. From the moment the doors close until they reopen 47 seconds later on the 102nd floor, a three-dimensional timelapse panorama will unfold on three walls of the elevator cabs showing the history of New York. The timelapse show us how New York has changed since 1500s until now. Check out the video from the One WTC elevator below.
