Nature is full of surprises. There are some species that can be larger than cars, trees and even houses. And I’m not thinking about elephants or giraffes right now. Giant beetles, bats or even a cow are just a top of the list below. Check out these record-breaking animals. You won’t belive these super-size animals are actually real.

Massive earthworm found in Ecuador.

This giant earthworm is 1.5-meter long (~5-feet) and weights more than 500 grams (~1.1-pound). It was found near the Sumaco Volcano in Ecuador.

Huge Anaconda vomits an entire cow in Brazil

The green anaconda is the largest, heaviest, and second longest known extant snake species. Typical mature specimens reportedly can range up 5 m (16.4 ft)

Giant Tasmanian Crab from Australia

This massive Tasmanian giant crab weighs 15 pounds and has a 15-inch shell. It is 100 times bigger than a standard UK shore crab. Yet he is still a juvenile and will grow to double his weight.

World’s largest crocodile in the Philippines

The world’s largest crocodile was reported near the town of Bunawan in the southern Philippines. Lolong, named after a famed Philippines hunter, was the 21 feet long, one-tonne saltwater crocodile who had been blamed for the deaths of several fishermen. Thirty men had spent three weeks trying to capture the huge reptile before they finally snared it in September 2011 using a dead pig as bait and throwing steel cables over it.

Titan beetles in the forests of Central America

The Amazon rain forest is home to many wierd and large bugs. Like this titan beetle, the second-largest known beetle. Adults can grow up to 6.5 inches (16.7 cm) in length.

The world’s tallest cow of all time was 6ft 4in tall. The cow lived on a farm in Orangeville, Illinois, with her owner Patty Hanson.
